Custom Work from the In-House Sawmill: Menuiserie Duprat Relies on the SERRA ME110 Bandsaw

Menuiserie Duprat is a long-established carpentry and joinery company based in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France. The company specializes in the production of high-quality wood products such as windows, doors, shutters, and bespoke interior fittings. Craftsmanship, energy efficiency, and tailor-made solutions are at the heart of its operations.

To further enhance the efficiency of its wood processing, Menuiserie Duprat operates its own sawmill, where a stationary SERRA ME110 bandsaw is in use. This powerful saw enables precise cutting of round timber with diameters of up to 110 cm and is ideally suited to the demands of a modern woodworking business.

We are pleased to announce the installation of a new SERRA ME110 in a fixed configuration, offering a cutting capacity of 9 meters. The machine is equipped with a full range of hydraulic options to ensure optimal loading, precise turning, secure gripping, and fast unloading of sawn products.

In addition, the customer has opted for a digital control system with touchscreen, allowing for simplified and efficient production management. This is complemented by a multifunction joystick for more precise and intuitive operation. All controls are managed via a detached cockpit, while the cabin itself is designed and built by the customer to meet their specific operational needs.

The combination of in-house timber production and high-quality processing enables Menuiserie Duprat to respond flexibly to customer requirements while maintaining full control over quality — from log to finished product. The SERRA ME110 plays a key role in this process, standing for efficiency, precision, and sustainable resource use.

With this investment in advanced sawing technology, Menuiserie Duprat reinforces its commitment to offering premium wood products from its own production — directly from the in-house sawmill, powered by the SERRA ME110 bandsaw.
