Product features
- Maximum performance: driven by a 22 kW motor that processes even 60 mm (2.36 in) hardwood boards with ease.
- Cutting capacity: the SERRA BS 800 processes square timber and boards up to a board thickness of 60 mm (2.36 in) and a width of 800 mm (31.5 in) with a maximum trimming width of 390 mm (15.35 in) between the circular saw blades.
- Operating modes:
- Trimming: equipped with two saw bushings, one fixed and one continuously variable. Ideal for trimming boards to the desired width.
- Multi-blade circular saw: as a multi-blade circular saw, the two saw bushings (one rigid saw bushing with an effective clamping width of 160 mm (6.30 in) and one movable saw bushing with 120 mm (4.72 in) can be fitted with up to seven circular saw blades. Ideal for producing square timbers boards of individually selectable sizes.
- Mobile control panel: allows individual positioning on the machine or roller tables and offers an Emergency Stop button, feed rate control and a high-quality positioning control for operating convenience.
- Mobile or stationary: as a stationary version for your sawmill or, alternatively, available in a mobile version with optional road approval.
- Safety functions: the BS 800 was developed to the highest safety standards and offers maximum protection for machine and operator.
- Laser alignment system: system with two high-grade green industrial lasers for precise cuts and maximum yield.
- Roller tables in the inlet and outlet: simplify material handling and are foldable in the mobile version, meaning that they do not need to be transported separately.
- Sawdust extraction: integrated connection for a mobile or stationary extraction unit.
